Before the starting of our Ramkrishna Shishu Tirtha H.S School, a few guru Brothers of the ashram had decided to open a free coaching centre, for the students of Madhyamik Dropout and the backward students in the field of education. Late Nikhil Dey managed for a ‘Kaccha Room’ with the help of Melaghar R.D Block and there they started free coaching, and the teachers were,

2. Satya Ranjan Barman
3. Hiralal Debnath
4. Samir Majumder,
5. Tapan Acharjee,
6. Goutam Ghosh ,
7. Dulal Chandra Saha
8. Atanu Saha and so on.
After some days ashram’s another Guru Brother Priti Gopal Kar’s helped to manage some seating arrangement for the students from Social Welfare Department, Melaghar. As a result the centre has started the teaching to the students who fell from backward category and to the little children, and as teacher we had Tapan Acharjee, Pranay Chakraborty, Uttam Karmakar, Tinku Dhar Banik, and Samir Sur.
Later on the members and guru brothers has arranged a necessary meeting and the secretary was Guru Prasanna Laskar and has decided to open a nursery school, and teacher was Tapan Acharjee and Head Mistress was Smt Gayatry Dey and Assistant was Smt. Ranjana Ghosh. Later on with the hard work of Guru Brothers and by giving 100/- per person they have constructed the school room and some other things.
That time Late Jagdish Chandra Saha has helped by donating some Almirah and Papers to the school and the school was running in this way.
After that the good time had arrived in the year 1999 January 1st. From then KG-I & KG-II has started with 12 & 6 students. The teacher’s honorarium was only 200/- and headmistress 250/- and for assistant it was 150/- only. The students fees was only 50/- per candidate. Thus walking on the little feet our school has now reached up to class 12th.
The main motive of our school is “Enter to Learn, Forth to Serve".
